Review the Rowan University Academic Integrity Policy, and watch the video below, which will introduce you to Rowan academic integrity resources, and summarize the academic integrity policy and the major classes of academic integrity violations.
Step 02: Complete the Indiana Univeristy tutorial on plagiarism.
Visit the Indiana University How to Recognize Plagiarism website.
You will find a set of tutorials that will help you understand the various types of plagiarism and how to avoid them.
Read the overview, then dive into the tutorials!
Step 03: Take the certification test
Take the certification test to prove your mastery of the material from the tutorials.
First, register to take the test. Please provide a valid email, and make sure to remember or write down your password! Please also use the same name as in your Rowan student records.
Once registered, login and take the test. You may repeat the test as many times as you need to in order to pass (9/10 correct) and get a certificate of completion.
Once you successfully pass the certification test, make sure to click the button "save certificate", and you will be emailed a certificate of completion, to the email address you used to register for the test.
Wait for the email before you close your browser (or view and save certificate page on the website). If you lose your unique test ID number, your certificate cannot be validated!
You do not need to get the full certificate (9/10); it is sufficient to get a majority of the questions correct (the test result page will say that you got more than half of the questions correct). Then email a screenshot of your test result to the submissions email below.
